Guests will meet at around 8 am at Thap-Lamu pier to check-in and receive a briefing on the day’s activities. Collect your snorkelling equipment and prepare to whizz off over the waves toward the Similan Islands.
The Similan Islands are a protected archipelago just off the West coast of Thailand, brimming with underwater life in its sheltered coves and bays. The Similan Islands are the pinnacle of what we celebrate in a Thai island – the pristine beaches here that little bit more picturesque, the shimmering crystal clear waters all the more mesmerisingly blue.
Throughout the day, we’ll stop at predetermined snorkelling locations dotted around the archipelago – the expert guides navigate the tides each day to determine the opportune moments to drop anchor and allow visitors to explore the underwater world.
We’ll stop for lunch on Koh Miang, allowing you time to relax on the beach with not a building in sight. Soak up the sun or take a dip in the sea with true castaway vibes – these islands are uninhabited, so the only visitors are the other passengers along on the trip.
After lunch, stop by Christmas point – the most celebrated area for snorkelling and the most likely spot to see the glorious sea turtles gliding through the water. There are opportunities at all locations for both beginner and advanced divers to explore at their leisure.
The final stop will be at Koh Similan, where guests can scale a short climb up to Sailing rock – a viewing point offering 360 panoramic views of this unspoiled paradise. Enjoy some more beach time at this last stopping point before cresting the waves all the way back to the mainland, where there’ll be drinks, papaya salad, and fried chicken awaiting guests before returning to the hotel.
