Depart the hotel at 09:00 for a drive to the jetty, ready to board a longtail boat for today’s adventure.
The first stop will be Koh Tan, a speck of rock sitting just off Samui’s shores. While Koh Tan has been mostly abandoned as the local residents have moved to Samui, the underwater life is still teeming with tropical fish, stingrays and the occasional barracuda. There’s ample opportunity here to spend an hour or so exploring the waters – lifejackets and snorkelling gear is provided.
A local lunch will be served at Coral Beach Restaurant on Koh Tan.
Afterwards, another short longtail ride leads to Koh Mudsum. Previously left to obscurity, Koh Mudsum has become a must-see for travellers and locals alike who come to spend time on the spectacular beaches and visit with the island’s resident pigs who roam freely – they are more than happy to pose for pictures.
Return to the jetty for your return transfer to the hotel, arriving around 14:00.
