A Day in an Elephant’s Life is a fantastic opportunity for animal lovers to get up close and personal with these enchanting creatures. Furthermore, the emphasis is very much on learning with an insight into the farm’s conservation work.
Upon arrival, the knowledgeable and friendly staff at the sanctuary will greet you and provide an introduction to the farm’s daily operations and the responsibilities of caring for the elephants. They will also share details about the sanctuary’s history and their conservation initiatives. You’ll feed, observe and interact with the elephants with plenty of wonderful photo opportunities.
There’ll also be the opportunity to accompany the elephants on an exercise walk while the they enjoy foraging around the grounds. Afterwards, get ready to roll up your sleeves and give the elephants a refreshing bath while learning more about their habits and behaviour. You can relax and soak in the tranquil environment while observing the magnificent creatures and their family dynamics in their natural habitat.
There is no riding of the elephants allowed on this trip – the emphasis is solely on education, and it is therefore suitable for any age – couples, adults, or families with children. The trip will be in the morning and last around five hours and includes round-trip transportation.
